My final top four pet peeves: Leaving the seat up, leaving empty food containers in the pantry, obnoxious laughter, and talking with your mouth full! I find these happen to me more on a regular basis than any of my other pet peeves.

Pet Peeve: 3/28/2011
Taking up two parking spaces!
I realized this was a pet peeve of mine over the weekend. I was having one of those days where everything seems to be preventing you from getting things done. I finally thought the day was picking up when I found a parking space for work right up front. When I whipped my car around to pull in to the space I found the spot was occupied by the front tire of an oversized-dully truck. I was happy to leave him a note on why I felt this was not an appropriate way to park your car.
This bothered me a lot because the mall was very busy to begin with, and although his truck was large he could have easily fit into one parking space. It seems to me people do this trick because the do not want others parking near them. You may achieve this but remeber that out of all of those people you kept from being able to park are not happy about it. I was descent enough to leave a simple note, but the next person may not be so courteous and leave a key mark instead.

What is your Pet Peeve? 3/10/11

Everyone has pet peeves that bother them a little and bother them a lot. Even if you consider yourself a highly tolerant person there are still little things that make your hairs raise. I listed 8 pet peeves below that I feel are universally frowned upon.
Rate your pet peeves on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the LEAST obnoxious and 10 being the MOST obnoxious.
- suck-ups
- nose picking
- overly talkative people
- people that stare
- laziness
- burping
- people that talk while yawning
- annoying voices
- Rudeness
- bad hygiene
Mine are the following:
1.) Burping
2.) People that talk while yawning
3.) Nose picking
4.) Annoying voices
5.) Laziness...I work full time and go to school full time; I hate seeing people get things handed to them without any effort.
6.) Overly talkative people...this bothers me the most when I am clearly busy doing something else or if I am trying to get off the phone with someone.
7.) Suck-ups...we have a few of these at Brenau.
8.) People that stare...especially when you're trying to have a private conversation!
9.) Bad Hygiene...this one comes from a guy that I dated that quickly turned into a break-up when I realized he never brushed his teeth! He had the same speck of food stuck between his teeth for 3 separate dates! Are you kidding me?!
10.) Rudeness...I think this one comes from working in customer service for the past 8 years.

Pet Peeve: 3/7/11
A huge pet peeve of mine is not finishing a task that is so close to being done!
It drives me nuts when my manager pulls me away from a project to starts a new one. Even though I have started the new task; I am still thinking of the old one.
I also don't see how people can drop out of school when they may only have a year or a semester left.
I can't stand the thought of not completing everyting I want to in life so I have created a bucket list. I also find that I work better with a timeline so I have made this list to be completed before I am 30.

Pet Peeve: 2/14/11
God bless, cover your mouth!
I have seen many methods for deterring a sneeze, but the lease effective is not covering your mouth at all! As soon as I hear a sneeze I wince at the fear of being sprayed with what could be potential influenza.
This pet peeve applies to people who cough and choose to spread their saliva on the back of your neck as well. In conclusion, anything coming out of an oral cavity, please have the courtesy to CoverYourMouth!

Pet Peeve: 2/5/11
Talking on your cell phone is a necessity in today's society.I am not at all here to condemn the use of a phone, but the appropriate times to talk on them is definitely up for debate.
If I am in a crowded Longhorn's restaurant and can hear your conversation at another table you are not at an appropriate volume. Especially if the conversation is highly private and makes me uncomfortable. Anytime I am in a situation like this, I immediately think that this individual is an attention whore and wants everyone to know their private business.
However, there are some people who are not aware of how loud they are, and are giving out information they may not want other people knowing.
Whether you're aware or not, this is a huge pet peeve of mine, and apparently I am not alone. Check out this link of other people's opinions on appropriate times to talk on you cellphone in public.

Pet Peeve: 1/30/11
I chose my manager, Anna Kaye Browning, to interview for Pet Peeve 1/30/11. She was chosen due to being the most intolerant manager I have ever had. Anna Kaye is 22 and would definitely fall into the category of a perfectionist. Anna Kaye is currently in school as a cosmetologist, manager for Victoria's Secret, and cuts hair for Princeton.
Q: You have such a busy schedule, do you ever feel overwhelmed?
Anna Kaye: Sometimes, but I like keeping busy.
Q: Would you consider yourself a perfectionist?
Anna Kaye: haha, do you have to ask? Yes of course.
Q: Does it bother you when other people to not share the same point of view as you?
Anna Kaye: Sometimes, but if someone doesn't want to do a job right than I rather just do it myself.
Q: "What would you say is your number 1 pet peeve?
Anna Kaye: Messy people
Q: Do you have a lot of messy people in your life?
Anna Kaye: My sister and my boyfriend. My sister is my total opposite. She is lazy and leaves everything a mess.
Q: What about your boyfriend?
Anna Kaye: He really isn't that messy. Sometimes I think he just does it to make me mad, haha.
Q: When did you realize you had such a problem with large messes?
Anna Kaye: Probably when I got into middle school. When I was younger I was just as messy as other kids. When I got into middle school I started realizing how sloppy other people were.
Q: Where do you think you found this tendency to be angry at messes?
Anna Kaye: Definitely my mother. She would get so mad at us when we were younger for leaving the tiniest messes. I would say that I inherited her perfectionism.
Q: Would you say that you have a lot of other pet peeves?
Anna Kaye: Not really, I just do my best so I expect the same out of others.
Q: Do you think you do anything to aggravate others?
Anna Kaye: No...I don't know, do I?
The interview concluded with small talk about how careful she was to not get on others nerves. Anna Kaye is very aware of how she treats others. This is a personality trait I am sure most wish they had.

Pet peeve: 1/22/11
"That's my advise, take it or leave it".
This expression is missing a vital piece. It's fine to not take someone's advise, but do not return to that person after you have screwed your situation up from not listening to them from the beginning!. It's one thing to have someone impose you with their idea of what would be best for you, but when someone actively seeks advise and then chooses to ignore it is a huge pet peeve of mine.
So, if your going to ask for advise, ignore it, and worsen your situation, do not go crawling back to the very person that gave you the advise which you chose to ignore!

Introduction
Imagine yourself sitting in a movie theatre with your significant other, trying to enjoy the most inspiring film you've ever seen. This film could be life changing and completly transform your outlook on life. However the couple sitting behind you are oblivious to this and insist on kicking the back of your seat, and talking louder than the actors you payed $8.50 a piece to watch.
How do you handle a situation like this? Most people would politly move to another seat leaving the obnoxious couple to continue their complacent behavior.
My solution is bloging about every pet peeve I have encountered as an outlet for myself and others.
Everyone has a pet peeve so this is a great source for others to connect and complain.
Hope you find griping to be as thereputic as myself.
